who knew rock songs work so well as mariachi music

not quite as good as breaking the law but here is a great crazy train
listen to the breaking the law before condemning them to failure or joke status

been drinking ruby red vodka with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice lately

Clear rum (like Bacardi Superior) goes very well with grapefruit juice.

I have no knowledge of philosophy.
I am embarrased to admit I do not know what existentialism is but not enough to look it up because I am pretty sure it would fall into a category near religion or something I disagree with some aspect or all of it.
I have never read the bible and never will.

the link about absurdity for instance: I had problems with its premise because it said:

in my opinion this is wrong because futile or untinteligble cannot be proven

I appreciated learning this thx billy
whats your position on it and what school would you classify yourself as belonging to if any?

Glad you like it. I take that statement as being dead-on. The search for meaning is described as futile because nobody finds it, and even if anybody did, what good would that knowledge be? We're all going to die, anyway. The world is described as unintelligible because one cannot be certain of the existence or certainty of anything, e.g. phenomena, God, the self, time (this is called nihilism).

To answer the other part of your question, I call myself an "existential nihilist" because I disagree with the notion that meaning can be found. In existential thought, so many philosophers (even the absurdist Camus) have some idea of how life can be meaningful, but you can look at them all one by one and see how they're using rationality to counterfeit meaning.

two head shops nearby are almost out in the open with pot sales

sure is convenient but in some ways takes a bit of the desire to smoke pot away

and also you said you become filled with self directed rage with sleep deprivation.

Deep down I am full of self hatred. But at the same time like myself for my inner strength to tolerate everything I have-no matter how stupid that was.
